A Journey of Growth: An Intern’s Tale at Skillman Video Group

(May 5, 2011) Reflecting on the past four months, it’s hard to believe how quickly my internship at Skillman Video Group has flown by. From an enthusiastic but inexperienced marketer to a confident digital marketing professional, this journey has been both transformative and enlightening.

Stepping Into the World of Digital Marketing

When I first walked through the doors of Skillman Video Group, I had a budding interest in internet marketing but only a basic grasp of the field.

Now, as my internship concludes, I am amazed at the depth of knowledge and experience I’ve gained. I’m not just ready but excited to dive into my new career in digital marketing, starting with a position I secured for June!

Mentorship and Collaboration

Working under the guidance of Christina Skillman and marketing consultant Francis McGovern has been a highlight of my experience.

Our frequent meetings in the Boston office were more than just discussions about marketing strategy; they were collaborative sessions where brainstorming and innovation thrived. Even though my official time at SVG has ended, the connections and friendships I’ve built here will undoubtedly endure. The culture at Skillman Video Group has taught me the importance of community and continuous learning, values I will carry into my next position and beyond.
